Members can't download zip files

Hi.

Does anybody have any clues as to which setting I have to change to allow members at my site to download .zip files? 

I can't quite recall having done anything special for other file types, and they can download them fine.

Did you set up a membergroup setting that limits users to only download X files per day? 

You can also check the allowed file types in Downloads, although that should have prevented you from even uploading zip files.

There are no limits to download files at present. I even created a new user and couldn't download the file. I tested other file types and could download them fine. 

zip files are indeed in the allowed file types.

I would recommend submitting a ticket so we can look at your specific setup. That error code indicates that they do not have permission to the view that attachment, because it is currently attached to content that the user cannot see.

I fixed it. I posted the thread on a sub-forum which had different download permissions.
