Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
NastyBoy Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 I had a new member attempt to sign up and they got this error message: "Sorry, there is a problem We could not locate the item you are trying to view. Error code: 2F176/1 " I searched here and the last posting was july 2017 saying it was related to clubs. We have no clubs set up and the member was attempting initial sign-up. Any ideas out there?
Faqole Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 Is anything else logged in the error log? What was the last change that you did to your forum before this started to happen?
Mark H Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 That error is related to an "out of range exception" in a node. If that error continues, for signups or elsewhere, please file a ticket to support and we'll be glad to investigate.

This error would show up when you attempt to view a forum but don't have permission/it doesn't exist/etc. You indicated this was an initial user sign up...were they perhaps following a link and were sent back to the link after sign up (but did not have permission to view the area)?
NastyBoy Posted October 4, 2018 Author Posted October 4, 2018 Sorry for the delay, rl has been crazy lately. They indicated it would do that when clicked sign-up, have not had any other reports of this issue so may have been on their end. I attempted to recreate on several machines from diff physical locations and no issues. Thank you for the response.
