Image names having string appended

Hi,

I'm not sure when this change occurred, but I've noticed that all my images on my site are getting a string appended to them. Does anyone know what is causing this or how to disable it?

e.g /forums/uploads/monthly_2018_04/support.jpg.c038f41a66b32589c8c3c2e624784153.jpg

they get added incase 2 images etc with the same name gets uploaded, it will overwrite the image uploaded so there will only be one image maybe uploaded by 2 different people, now if one deletes his one, the other loses it to, with that added they will always be unique and never clash with another

You can't disable this, it's intentional for the reason stated.
