Emojis: "Safe Set" or "Student Set" for STUDENTS

I appreciate you passing it on to see if we can expand options going forward.
Since our forum is specifically made up of high school students, it would be great if the "middle-finger" option weren't put in front of them every time they try to add an emoji since it doesn't express the kind of encouraging/supportive vibe we're after. ?
In the future, if there were some way to "turn off" certain ones, or maybe more simply to have an additional "safe set" or "student set" that didn't include derogatory images, that would be great.
Thanks for your consideration!

You can always switch back to only emoticons, if you need to absolutely control your emoji-language in the drop-down.  That won't prohibit students from using their keypads to insert any emoji they want though, since emojis are natively supported.

Emojis are a full set.  You get the good with the bad, and everything in between.

I wonder if a word filter could be used for specific emoji? (ACP > Posting > Word Filters) I haven't tried it for emoji, but if it doesn't work, maybe IPS could do something.

It wouldn't disable the emoji character entirely, but you could hold the posts for moderator approval.

Are there any other emoji besides the 'middle finger' one that you would consider unsuitable? i.e. are we talking about just one emoji character here, or is there really a need for a full 'safe set'?
