Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Morgin Posted December 28, 2017 Posted December 28, 2017 Hi, Can anyone advise the best way to move the footer ad block from the default location to above the bottom block? Adsense has let me know my default location footer ad gets viewed by only 6% of visitors. Their recommendation is to move it higher on the page. I am looking at the documentation here for using a custom location https://remoteservices.invisionpower.com/docs/ad-custom-location/?version=102036 but I don't know which template file I need to edit to put a custom ad spot in at that location that will show on all content pages the same way the current footer does. Thanks! Also, if anyone out there is able to provide advice on how to copy what @pesci did in this post, that would be much appreciated: @pesci hasn't been on since August so I'm hoping someone might have an understanding of how they achieved those locations. Thanks.

That link is the same as the link you pasted. Just from within the ACP it links to the remoteservices subdomain. Same content tho. Regardless, appreciate the help. Just need help with the next step

Will your advertisements app be able to do those placements described by @pesci in the post I linked above? If so, I think that might be the easiest, upgrade-proof way of achieving what I'm trying to do here.
