Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Gabriel Torres Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Hi, As far as I can remember (and please correct me if I am wrong), in the 3.4.x series when a user was banned, a phrase "Banned User" was shown in the user mini profile next to his posts. In the 4.2.x series when a user is banned, no public information is shown. Is there a out-of-the-box way to display a text or badge showing that the user was banned. This is useful because as other users don't know a particular user is banned, they keep replying to questions posted by a banned user (who won't come back to read or comment on them). Thank you in advance.

In 3.4.x, the user is flagged as 'Banned' - the 'Banned' group was removed' There is no 'out of the box' front-end indicator of a user being banned unless you choose to start moving users to a 'Banned' group (you can create one) when the ban action is being performed:
