Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
JEFF MACK Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 Maybe I hit an option somewhere, but when people click on image on my site, they are not getting the nice pop up photo, they are dowloading. Does anyone know how to shut that off so that the enlarged photo will be display when clicked?
Joel R Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 You'll need to be more specific where your users are clicking. If you're on an album page of the thumbnails, clicking will take you the image details page. If you're on the image details page, clicking will take you to the lightbox. If you're on the lightbox, clicking will take you to the download.
JEFF MACK Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 here is an example. just regular posts...
Daniel F Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 This looks like a potential htaccess restriction. Have you ever changed your URL? https://stackoverflow.com/questions/4317168/how-to-make-htaccess-redirect-on-direct-image-access-while-allowing-embedding I would suggest to take a look at your htaccess file inside the community root directory and also inside the uploads directory.
JEFF MACK Posted August 23, 2017 Author Posted August 23, 2017 I figured out it was an outdated plugin causing the issue. Once I got that updated, all is back to normal. Thank you all for your help.
