display option on homepage

On my forum, how do I get the icon to appear (alongside START NEW TOPIC) to allow to view the forum from the 3 options:

Table: A traditional forum index table view

Grid: Display forum as cards in a grid

Fluid: Simpler dynamic listing of topics

I assume you already found the settings where you copied the options from. On that same page, activate “members can choose”. 

(Your theme also needs to support that choice)

I saw it on this forum and was wondering how to get it to appear on my own. Where do I find this setting?
