Hello,

I would like the ability to create custom notifications programmatically. I'm not sure of the best way to  create custom notifications that can work alongside the current notification system.

So, for example, I would like to be able to generate a new notification using custom php code:

IF MEETING IS IN AN HOUR 
{
CREATE NOTIFICATION FOR USER... ("YOU HAVE A MEETING IN AN HOUR")
}

I would like this notification to work like the built in notifications work. (appears inside the bell dropdown at the top of the page, etc...)

Is this possible?
