Block with lastest posts filtered by "Members I Follow"

Hi guys -

Is there a block solution that allows for the filtering of last posts based on members that I follow?  I understand that there is an activity stream that accomplishes this but I am looking to put this block in my sidebar.

Streams has rss. On marketplace you can find widgets that allow read feeds. Or if you has app Pages you can use inbuilt widget.

Thank you LAC for the reply - I will look more into this solution.  Was trying to avoid going the import RSS route seeing as though there are already blocks that are close to doing exactly what I need but just have to add one more filter on if post is from someone they are following.

You use to be able to do this in IPB3.X by creating a block and filtering it based on friends, was very easy to do but I don't see that being possible in IPB4.X
