How to disable reputation in Off-Topic

Hello,

As the title say: how can I disable the rep system in off-topic and others areas ?

The rep system is useless if users can "exploit" it by earning points in areas of no importance (like off-topic).

Users in my forum get a lot o rep by posting funny stuff and users that participate in serious discussions, sometimes, get less reps.

You can't.  Reputation and content count are global.  

This has been brought up before to IPS, and you should make your suggestion in Product Feedback.

A default feature by IPS would be great for this reason.
