Disable following forums

The abiliity for a member to follow a forum is a good feature.

But sometimes members are not understanding exactly what it means. 

So after setting this option, they will receive lots of emails. Sometimes they change their following options or notifications options, sometimes they only ignore all the emails, sometimes they put the mail to a blacklist...

The result is :

- sending too much emails
- get bounced or rejected
- get out from sparkhost

What I would like is a plugin which automatically unsubscribe members from "forum following" if they didn't visit the forum since x days.
Or others rules like this
Other example : if there is no visit after x emails sent, the member is automatically unsubscribed from "forum following"

I hope a developer will understand my request. I could sponsor the development
