Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
yacenty Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Hi, Till now we are using PHP sessions by files. I've read that handling those by Memcached could speed up our server. Is it worth to change? Is it safe for IPB environmnet to have PHP Sessions in Memcached? Any experience? We are using nginx/fpm-php/memcached/mysql
ASTRAPI Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Yes it will help but it will not make a huge improvement Then if memcached is restarted all sessions of users will be gone ....
