I just pushed this textlink inside the Imagesettings in ACP

I have tens and thousands of images on mye site - and I was not expecting a  rebuild of all those images upon pressing that link. I find it kind of unlogical. There should have been some kind of warning..?

It says "rebuild existing images." What did you think would happen?

Personally, I'd think it would take me to the associated ACP option to do that - not do it directly from that link - but that's just me.

It does look like, if you click you will get a popup explaining what it does. It does not look like an action.

Perhaps as a compromise (as the link is logical) a modal box(popup) asking you to confirm the action would be an idea ?

That should do it. ;)

Yes. I was not expecting something like that at all.

My uploadsfolder contains 136 000 files - mostly images - and this recount/rebuild has started all over again and again. Completely waste of bits and bytes and I just hopes everything is in place when it finishes.
