Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Rachel Crane Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Hello,I recently upgraded to IPS 4 from 3.4.x. I had to export my database, upgrade locally, then re-import to my server as my shared hosting wouldn't let me run the UTF8 converter script. Now that it's online and upgraded, everything works EXCEPT AJAX based features. Editing posts on the fly (goes to full editor), I can't drag and drop blocks from the left side bar, etc.Any ideas how to fix? IPS Support can't seem to figure it out yet.
Daniel F Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 Have you tried to run the support tools? IPS Support can't seem to figure it out yet.You mind to share the ticket id?
Rachel Crane Posted August 23, 2015 Author Posted August 23, 2015 Hi Daniel,Really appreciate it! Ticket ID: 925419They asked me to re-upload files and run the support tool - I did, but that didn't change anything, and it falsely reports changed files.
FirebirdRUS Posted August 23, 2015 Posted August 23, 2015 I upgrade from 4.0.11 to 4.0.12.1 and had a some problem Ajax functions is not work
Vroom Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 I think you need to clear the cache. I had this exactly before and cleared the cache and it worked. It is in the admin control panel, click on support and go through the steps till it says it is clearing the cache. Maybe it wont work in your normal browser as it also uses ajax and your cached javascript files are corrupt (happend to me like that once), but there was another way to clear the cache which I forget, i think it involved using another browser that doesnt use ajax.

Kevin Hsu Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I've had similar problems, but only with going to next/previous pages of threadseditor works fine and next/previous pages of fourms work too.
