Posted July 23, 20159 yr I have been doing some skinning again, or theming if you like, converting my old ones to the new version. To my big surprise, changes in the front end also made changes in the back end, which is obviously not something I would want, especially not because some parts seem affected, and others aren't. F.e., I changed a font to white, and it became white in the backend too, making everything impossible to read, obviously. So my urgent request is:By all means, make it skinnable, but please do separate the front end themes from the back end ones.Or alternatively, make them really completely the same, and not partly.Thank you for your consideration.Kind regards, Wim
July 23, 20159 yr You can create a new theme and make it only available to administrators, so nobody won't notice it in the frontend. And in the backend you'll be able to use it via the theme chooser
July 23, 20159 yr Author Thank you, Daniel. That is a good temporary solution. For now I will in that case only make the default available to admins, otherwise I could not really set a semi-transparent theme as the default :).The problem is that the log-in screen also has the skin applied - maybe that should change in that regard. It means that by setting a (semi-) transparent skin as the default, with, e.g., a white font, you can no longer see what you are entering when logging in.Kind regards, Wim Edited July 23, 20159 yr by wimg
