duardito Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 HI,I am looking for way to upgrade from 3.4.7 to 4.0.2, but I do not find url.please, share it .thanks
pisaldi Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 You have to do the same process as all upgrades in IPS... and like always, remember to do backups before upgrading!!!
Saurabh Jain Posted April 26, 2015 Posted April 26, 2015 Two more steps before1 Check compatibility with IPS 42 Most probably you will find in above step that you need to convert your existing database to utf-8 so you need to use DB tool I have done this much so far....

duardito Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 HI,I am getting this error, I am sure path is writable, but I am still getting this error.I am upgrading over dedicated server with plesk 12. Your session.save_path (/home/session) is not writable. You will need to contact your host to adjust your PHP configuration before you can continue.
Hexsplosions Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I also have Plesk 12.Two things I did to resolve this:In your PHP settings define a new session.save_path. I defined /tmp/ as the path to use. (You can do this by editing the service plan or the hosting package itself.)Download the file from this link and upload it as per the instructions.
duardito Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 ok, I could solve this problem, but now I get other problem:It looks like there is trying to go to a previous path instead new path. [message:protected] => is_dir(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/var/www/vhosts/virt1979.unelink.net/site1/uploads) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/vhosts/server.keemono.com/:/tmp/) EDITED: fixed problems, performing upgrade
duardito Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 Another problem, most of my forums have disappeared. back to 3.4.7 again.
