Mail Bouncer - Automated Bounce Management

Featured Replies

I have just paid and installed it today - I have to say seamless to set-up - very easy and so far seems to be functioning very well indeed. Glad it will be updated when new version of IP is released.

This is a great app, but may I make a suggestion that would make it even more killer? Have the app move users who bounce and meet certain criteria (0 approved posts / Not logged in/active in X days) t

  • @stoo2000 Any chance Mandrill Bouncer will work "as is" with SparkPost? If not, will you be offering an alternative. I would hate to lose this great tool. Thanks!

Didn't notice that it was final!

I am having an issue with this app - users are updating their email, but following this they are still on the blacklist/emails disabled. This is for soft/hard bounce and not for spam reporting.

At what stage does someone who has reported as spam get the option to opt back in to emails - I have someone ask and I have done it manually but it would be nice to know the automatic practice that happens for the next time

@stoo2000 any ideas on 4.x? I am waiting for this before I upgrade. Also if you know why changing an email doesn't reset the emails disabled that would be great.

The upgrader will take care of that ;)

Nice! But how is going to work this upgrader?

It's an IPS upgrader... it's used for upgrading any app.

You'll have an 'upload new version' button, you would click this and provide the TAR archive, then click GO!

But isn't it designed to upgrade an app that is installed on IPS 4? The app installed on 3.4.7 won't be upgraded to IPS in the first place.

Am I wrong?

Is Mandrill Bouncer working in IPS 4???

I have the plugin installed (but in the "not upgraded list") and the system is refusing to send email based on Bouncer App!

Those will be logs from before you upgraded to IPS4. Bouncer will be completely disabled when you've upgraded.

Thanks! Hope that you can launch Bouncer for IPS 4 soon!

Any ETA on this update?

Another great plugin that I cannot do without.

Sorry for the delay, I've been away a lot over the last few weeks.

I'm currently in the final stages of testing. There's only one big change left for me to make, which is to move the upgrade logic out into a background task. There's a small 'issue' in current versions of IPS4 that will make the upgrade process look like it is frozen (when rebuilding large amounts of data), It's better to work around this than for people to stop the upgrade halfway believing that it is broken.

"There are two files available for download, one is for IPS4 and one is for IP.Board 3.4"

Is this an update for IPB 3.4, the version number is the same as previously (1.2) ?

Has it been release for IPS4 already?

Please provide the links to the downloads...

Is it stable already for IPS 4?

The 3.4 version is unchanged.

I would expect it to work fine. The biggest changes are to the menu and content items, both of which this app doesn't use.
