Ocean West
The technical term escapes me. But i wonder if there is thought to instead of using pagination for areas of the forums that can be turned in to auto loading when scrolling? Like: Pinterest or Mashable when you reach the end of the page X# of more items show again. An interesting concept with Mashable - if you click in to an article then scroll down after you reach the end of the article and any comments that are posted the ENTIRE site reloads from again. Jυra
I think most browsers have plugins for it. I think even Maxthon has one.Pagination is superior in that it keeps your location if you restart your browser revisit the same link.

Ryan H.
It's a nice feature for keeping users engaged, it's not so good for pageviews/ad impressions. Trying to get back to a previous page is also potentially problematic.
