We used to use a WordPress plugin for our forum. But I decided to look for something new as the plugin was so buggy, limited and awkward to use.

I've only been a hosted Invision Power Board customer for a few days, and although I had a few issues getting my head around the software to begin with, I'm really glad I found it.

My members really like it too. Here are a couple of comments I've had :

I am familiar with the WP forum plugins. IPS is in a completely different league to those!
