Are you guys going to modify it with support recognize https links for the bbcode, auto-parser and media tags?

Yep, i notice too the youtube URL with https does not appear in threads as these http link appear.

You could add them yourselves if it's really that important to you.

Look & Feel -> Manage Media Tag

You can just copy and paste the current ones and make new HTTPS ones.
