I'd like to suggest the archive mode feature in which the whole thread (doesn't matter how many pages) is shown on 1 page, like whirlpool forums or WHT.



Example:


http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/1245423 - (total 62 pages)

http://www.webhostingtalk.com/archive/index.php/t-924581.html - (total 33 pages shown on 2 pages)



I am sure this feature will be good for SEO purposes too.

Wouldn't work well on forums where threads can reach into tens or even hundreds of thousands of posts. Huge load on the server with a single request; would make for a simple attack vector.

Yeah no, gonna have to disagree :P

We have topics with hundreds of posts. That can't be good at all.

How about a setting in ACP that Archive mode will display x number of posts in 1 thread?
