Do you use another hook that handles with posting topics?

Maybe it is in conflict with some other hook.

I am still having problems with this hook, as far as I know I have no other hook that is connected with the shoutbox.

Posts are fed to the shoutbox but new topics aren't.

Sorry, but I ca't reproduce so it's almost impossible to me to do something if it works for me and for everybody else. Unless you have another hook conflicting with this one.

Example: a hook called TOPIC DESCRIPTION is incompatible with this one and with my AUTO REPLY 'cause the author didn't extend the class in a proper way, killing all other hooks.

So post your hooks list.

Question.. is it safe to assume that setting "Allowed forums" means that only posts from this forum will post into the sb? Because I decided to scale back the posts a bit since they were getting a bit excessive. I changed the allowed forums to just the upcoming events forum.. but posts from the main forum are still generating the notifications as well.

It should create a shout only on selected forums. If it's creating shouts from ither forums, then it's a bug.

It works for me. The shout is created only when someone replies to topics of selected forums.

No, there's no way I can do that, since a shout is visible to everybody who can view the shoutbox.

I guess I'm the only one, but this doesn't seem to work (on 3.3.4). I'm pretty sure I did everything I could (activating everything under system setting > hooks). I appreciate the effort though and that you made it free, just a heads up.

Would you mind me asking why you no longer support this hook? Don't feel obliged to answer if you don't want to.

Didn't download it (and I won't), but AFAIK it is encrypted now... So I can't see if something has changed. Probably has... Otherwise the hook would still be functional.
