pietro.curti Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Hello, you're right. "Modify" and "Quote" buttons are visible only in PM messages... In each topic there's only "Reply" button but it doesn't work like "Modify" or "Quote" button. After click one of these buttons nothing happens. No error but a "blank" page.
pietro.curti Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Hello, any update? It's only my problem? Have you the same issue? Thank you very much.
Genestoy Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Hello, any update? It's only my problem? Have you the same issue? Thank you very much. It is not a problem with this modification, the IPS mobile skin has never had those buttons in the mobile skin. Take a look here using IPS mobile skin there are no other buttons other than "Reply"

Hello, I've tried to install Topic Description v.1.0.2 in my test forum and it works good. Instead in main forum is installed Topic Description v.1.0.0. How can upgrade it to latest version? Can I do the same steps shown in readme document? Is it a problem that is already installed a previous version? Thank you very much.

CnCNet Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Hi Is there an option to select which user groups can use topic descriptions?
pauldaytona Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Hi thanks for it. Now In the forum index where a description is used, I get an extra line below it. I did make the template adjustments as in the read me. Ok, I found it, in " topicDesc" is an extra <br /> take it out and it's ok again.
CnCNet Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Also, could you tell us how you would make users being able to Edit the topic description from forum view?
Pavulon87 Posted March 26, 2012 Author Posted March 26, 2012 Will you be updating this hook for 3.3? Thanks Hook is not changed because it works, but I changed instructions in readme.
Genestoy Posted March 26, 2012 Posted March 26, 2012 Hook is not changed because it works, but I changed instructions in readme. Thanks Pav, I had looked at the readme and could not find the correct code in the 3.3 files so thought it needed an upgrade but now the readme matches 3.3
Elke Edwards Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Hello, I'm using the default skin and am unable to locate the line to be changed in Step 3: <h1 itemprop="name" class='ipsType_pagetitle'>{$topic['title']}</h1> I have the line but it does not contain itemprop="name" <h1 class='ipsType_pagetitle'>{$topic['title']}</h1> I did re download the whole plugin today.

You must be running 3.2? The first code is from 3.3 and the second from 3.2
Elke Edwards Posted March 27, 2012 Posted March 27, 2012 Yes, Version 3.2.3. I added the parameter snippet to the line despite the difference in code and it seems to be working.
connorhawke Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Bug - Topic Description 1.0.2 on IPB 3.3.0: When the hook is enabled, using the 'Edit Title' feature on a thread edits the Topic Description instead of the Topic Title.
Genestoy Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 On my 3.3.1 test board Topic Descriptions does not work at all? The box is there in the editor for the description entry but does not show on the forum.
Genestoy Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Well, guess this mod is no longer supported
connorhawke Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 On my 3.3.1 test board Topic Descriptions does not work at all? The box is there in the editor for the description entry but does not show on the forum. Works for me. Did you edit the skin template files per the instructions?
Genestoy Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Yes I did and I have used it successfully before
connorhawke Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 Yes I did and I have used it successfully before Did you try reimporting the mod, recaching all skin sets, and checking to see if another 3rd party mod may be conflicting?
Genestoy Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 I tried uninstalling and re-installing 3 times previously, so I just now re-downloaded it from the marketplace and installed it again and now it is working  don't know what happened unless one of the files got corrupted earlier. All the previous template edits looked correct too.
