5.0.20 is now available!
Thank you, that works for my account. Is this setting saved per user or for the theme? I would like the table view to be the default for all members (including guests). Where can an administrator set this default?

Hello, I just upgraded my self-hosted community from Invision Community 4.7.25 to 5.0.20 (manual upgrade, default theme). Everything works, but the forum index now uses a card/grid layout, and every forum shows a large grey placeholder with an image icon, because none of my forums has a Card Image set. I have many forums and I don't want to upload an image to each one. What I would like is to either: Switch the forum index to the table/list view used in 4.x (no images), or Hide the card image / placeholder entirely, keeping the layout as it is. My questions: - Where do I change the layout of the forum index (grid, feed, table)? I found the Card Image and Icon fields under Customization when editing a forum, but I could not find a setting that switches the layout. I also looked in Forums > Settings. - Is there a way to hide the placeholder when a forum has no Card Image? Setup: Invision Community 5.0.20, PHP 8.1, MariaDB 10.3.39, default theme. Thank you!

Hello, I'm planning a manual upgrade of my self-hosted community from Invision Community 4.7.25 to 5.0.20, and I need to confirm my database is compatible before I start. Current environment: Invision Community 4.7.25 (self-hosted, Plesk on Linux) PHP 8.1.34 MariaDB 10.3.39 (reported by mysql --version) Only first-party applications installed (Core, Forums, Calendar), default theme, no active third-party plugins The Requirements Checker script shows all green The download page for 5.0.20 lists these requirements: PHP 8.1.0, 8.2.0 or 8.3.0 MySQL 8.0.13 or above The requirements only mention MySQL, so I have a few questions: Is MariaDB officially supported by Invision Community 5.x? If so, what is the minimum MariaDB version? Will MariaDB 10.3.39 work with 5.0.20, or do I need to upgrade MariaDB (or move to MySQL 8.0.13+) before running the upgrader? I have full backups of the database and files, and I'd like to be sure about the database requirements before overwriting any files. Thank you for your help!

5.0.20 is now available!
Hi, I want to upgrade my Invision Forum to 5.0.20. Now I'm on Invision Community v4.7.25. From admin panel I see the button "Update now" but is linking me to this "https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/server-management/install-and-upgrade-r259/" and not started an automatic upgrade. I've also update my license to Classic. How can I solve? There is a way to run the automatic upgrade? Thank you.
