.Ian Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Hi, It would be nice if skins, hooks, files etc., could all be sorted on IP.B version. So potential purchasers could quickly see as to which files work with 3.2 I am not aware of this being possible (no obvious link etc.) Mind you on the version number - it would be nice if instead of a text box, version numbers were selectable, so that authors could tick the versions that their app or skin worked with. Thanks.
-GR- Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 I would have to agree also, it would be nice to have them easily sortable or separated.
Ryan H. Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Categories or some way of sorting and determining compatibility [tags?]. I agree.
Marcher Technologies Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Categories or some way of sorting and determining compatibility [tags?]. I agree. I would think that would be best route, but i think ipdownloads hasn't had that upgrade yet.
Michael Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Yeah, this is really more of an issue of a feature suggestion for IP.Downloads. We're just using a stock install of IP.Downloads and IP.Nexus for the Marketplace here.
.Peter Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 So create new categories? I agree with this pull something off like invisionize (I can't believe I just said that) where the uploaders can upload to the proper section.
Michael Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 But what if a product is compatible with 3.0, 3.1 & 3.2? What I'd like is there to be a multi-select type of custom field sites like this could use for compatibility, and then let that be searchable. But multi-select is not currently one of the custom field choices.
ZakRhyno Posted June 23, 2011 Posted June 23, 2011 "new categories" not really but a field that can be label as "Version" of what it is for not version of the coding.
