Luke Posted March 30, 2011 Share Posted March 30, 2011 It would be cool if there was a special "Other" option in the poll system that allowed other users to add their own items to the poll. Lets say a user was asking "what is the best software for x". He could put a couple options in the poll (or none) but have an "Other" option where a user could add that option (the name of the software). Then when someone else comes along they can vote for that newly added option. What's nice about this is it makes polls more specific. You don't have to wade through posts to tally up the "other" options. If a user has a suggestion that isn't on the list it can be added by them, and then voted on by other users.
