MageUK Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 At the moment it's possible to disable signatures for a specific group, and also to disable profile editing (which I believe stops them changing their avatar?). This is no good if you want to punish a user abusing their signature/avatar privileges without banning them, unless I've missed an option somewhere here. It would be useful if signature/avatar privileges could be disabled on a per user basis (and perhaps be a part of the warn system). Right now, it's fairly useless for punishing an individual because you have to change their group, and if they're in a lot of primary and secondary groups, you have to remove them from most of those too since permissions stack positively and most of these groups have permission to use a signature/edit their profile.
Lojo Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Agreed. Hopefully they will take this into consideration and add this.
Ghosty_CRN Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 +1 I'd like this feature added, to moderate problem sigs/avatars. Thanks.
TCWT Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 +1000 I needed to do this for a handful of members this past month! I can't always monitor their signatures.
Aisha Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Also agreed. Otherwise I end up creating a special "Restricted" rank. :P
AncientMariner Posted January 9, 2014 Posted January 9, 2014 Bringing up an old thread - this would be very useful.
