Novawave Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 mikkee reported earlier, that by going to Members -> Notification Defaults and saving the page, it seems to fix the notification key error.
OurVQ.com Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 This is the php error I get: Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'BAD_NOTIFY_KEY' in c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\sources\classes\member\notifications.php:444 Stack trace: #0 c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\applications_addon\other\feedback\modules_public\view\view.php(319): notifications->sendNotification() #1 c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\applications_addon\other\feedback\modules_public\view\view.php(57): public_feedback_view_view->leave_feedback('5') #2 c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\sources\base\ipscontroller.php(296): public_feedback_view_view->doExecute(Object(ipsRegistry)) #3 c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\sources\base\ipscontroller.php(101): ipsCommand->execute(Object(ipsRegistry)) #4 c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\sources\base\ipscontroller.php(65): ipsController->handleRequest() #5 C:\Websites\ourvq.com\index.php(26): ipsController::run() #6 {main} thrown in c:\websites\ourvq.com\pwn_console\sources\classes\member\notifications.php on line 444 Can you help?
Novawave Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Yeah, that's the one that should have been fixed in 1.0.3. I'll look into it. In the meantime, a few posts back I describe how to disable notifications to stop that error.
OurVQ.com Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Disallow Member Selection to Yes works. There is another problem though. How do a member check his own feedback? Right now, when I go to My Profile and click on feedback, I get a message saying that I do not have permission. It would be nice for a member to be able to see who gave him feedback. Thanks,

Thanks, You have to set the permissions for each user group under Members -> Manage User Groups -> Feedback tab under each group.
OurVQ.com Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 Thanks, I completely forgot about that.
Kaibakung Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 I bought it. What's the file name that I have to upload to the root? Please specific the name for me. (The instruction said upload the contents... but no specific name) Thanks!
Novawave Posted October 17, 2010 Posted October 17, 2010 Upload everything under the upload folder to the root. The names should match the folders you already have for your IPB install (admin, applications_addon, etc).
HPSam Posted October 18, 2010 Posted October 18, 2010 Many members are reporting that their accumulated feedback is being automatically deleted. Not all the feedback, but a few. There's a whole thread of members complaining about it. PMing you the link. Please look into it. Thanks.
Novawave Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Strange. I've read through the topic you sent, and I am investigating. Is anyone else experiencing this?
HPSam Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 Many members are reporting that their accumulated feedback is being automatically deleted. Not all the feedback, but a few. There's a whole thread of members complaining about it. PMing you the link. Please look into it. Thanks. The issue is getting really serious now. We have vendors operating on our site and one of our vendors has lost all his non-ttrader feedback. So he's lost all the feedback earned through the new system. The feedback score still shows but the feedback itself is gone. Please fix this.
Novawave Posted October 25, 2010 Posted October 25, 2010 I've responded to your PM. I'm looking into the issue, but at the moment no one else has reported the problem, so it may be specific to your installation.
Graeme Leighfield Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Just paid and downloaded the version on here (IPB), and its only the 1.0.0. Can you please update the file in the market place to 1.0.3 please?
Novawave Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 The latest version is 1.0.4 on the marketplace. I forgot to update the version string however, so it shows up as 1.0.0 in the Admin panel.
Graeme Leighfield Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 Oh ok. Well still having the problem with notifications, namely the "BAD_NOTIFY_KEY" when clicking to add feedback to a users score. Can you advise on a permenant fix? I dont want to role this out to my community without notifications as all our other paid applications work fine... Im on 3.1.4
Graeme Leighfield Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 Could really do with an update on this please...
Novawave Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I asked another user experiencing this issue to help debug, was waiting for an answer. Could you try the following for me? Under Tools and Settings -> Cache Management, please recache 'notifications'.

Novawave Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Hmm, ok. I'll have to ask around about this issue, as I'm not sure why it's not working on some installs. For now, I've PMed you a copy of the script with notifications disabled. Graeme Leighfield 1
Graeme Leighfield Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Nice one thankyou :) If you need a tester for this, keep me in mind :)
Novawave Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 I've allowed access to download the script via the [url=" for most existing customers. If you can't access the download, PM me the ID you've been using to download on NovaScripts.com, and I'll move you over. Zenithlt 1
Zenithlt Posted December 10, 2010 Posted December 10, 2010 Hi. i got a problem. When I turn on require deal topic I write it down, but i still get an error thays says the address is incorrect... http://pvpers.lt and also how to make to display feedback like this: (id like to show how positive (+) and negative (-) feeds :)
Novawave Posted December 13, 2010 Posted December 13, 2010 You enter in a number only, and you still get an error? To get the feedback to show up like that I could modify the hook. You'd need to make a few edits too. Let me know if you want me to do that. Zenithlt 1
Zenithlt Posted December 16, 2010 Posted December 16, 2010 Yeah i would like to have edited hook :) that would be great :)
