Will add a link to the profile card of users in online list in board index, making it easier and faster to get information about this user and/or send PMs, etc.

Nothing. Just a new link.

I guess I don't understand what this really does. When you click on someone's name in the online list it automatically take you to their profile by default. Does this do something different????

It adds the link to profile card exacly for you don't need to go to his profile.

It doesn't replace the link, it just adds the square icon to the right of the usernames, much like it is done in other areas of the forum. Not stupid at all...

Ah okay I get it. Might install it, not sure just yet. Don't have enough users on my boards to justify the use of it.
