Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Michael R Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 Other than the user limitation, are there any additional features with the paid versions of IP.Chat?
bfarber Posted January 12, 2010 Posted January 12, 2010 The user-limitation is the only difference at this time.
Cirion Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 The user-limitation is the only difference at this time. oooh sounds like there is something in the works for more features :P
bfarber Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I don't know of any plans to limit any features to the paid version, presently. Plans change however, which is why I said "at this time" to begin with. I don't want someone finding this topic 3 years from now and saying "you said everything would always be in the free version!!!". :P

Almost all of the chatrooms out there have some "premium feature" that is a nag to get you into upgrading. Examples would be something like moderates chats (not too useful on 5 users only, but hey...) and longer chat log archives seem to be popular with other chatroom solutions.
