People are frequently asking for "documentation" but not specifying what they want to see documented exactly.

Let me clarify,

I would like to see documentation on navigating and working in the admin CP with the new features that have been added, hooks, permissions, etc. I would also like to see documentation on using facebook connect, and openID. :)

In the meantime, there is inline help throughout the majority of the ACP that answers questions about each individual page. I'd urge you to make use of it, as I think it will help you with most of the new stuff.

I'm pretty sure that most, if not all, people want a 3.x version of the 2-3 detailed PDF's that were available for the 2.x series.

I know that I do.

The detailed PDF was done by a third party, as I recall. I am not positive when an updated copy will be available.

PHPDoc would do me nicely. ;)

I can't seem to get it to create at all. :(

Brandon D got it to export last night. But there are problems with some of it that I need to go through. I'm hopeful I can get things cleaned up and maybe have a copy of the phpdocs up next week, or the week after.

A 3rd party did the 2.x PDF Docs, eh?

Well, I still want one like that, but for 3.x. :P

As I recall (though I'm not known for my memory). Mind you, it was on a contract basis (they didn't do it out of the kindness of their hearts  ).

Not to be a stick in the mud but could the topic be corrected in the spelling?

I second that :P  Sorry I was trying to type to fast.

No biggie.. Just might be easier for people to find if they are looking for the topic. Especially if they do a title search for documentation.

I'd like a detailed description of what each permission setting does for the acp restrictions.

I sincerely hope you didn't give them the final payment, considering that an entire section of the manual, about one of the ACP menus, was missing.
