Are there any plans to incorporate some of the editor search features we had in the 2.3 series into 3.0? This is one feature that would really make life easier, imho.

Yes, and the function that also showed the CSS layout based on the search term as well.

I'm not a skinner so I didn't know about the CSS part, but yeah the search isn't showing results from the CSS areas even though I searched a term that I know is in there.

We would like to add back some of those features in a future version. We experienced too many bugs with the editor we tried using at first, however, and had to remove it. Less "features" but more stable.

Thanks for the reply Brandon. Stability should always take precedence over features. I hope you guys do find a way to add those back in at some point :)
