Donnieb Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 The demo site only stays open for a short time for you to test
Lindsey_ Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 That's a demo board. You are not meant to run a forum off it..lol
Ziv Grosu Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 To purchase an hosting pack you may visit this page. IPS do not allow you to open your community under a demonstration board. (it's only for 24 hours, if you want to extend your account, you would need to contact the sales department).
Alex_Gaudino Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Oh , yes , i understand... But where can i free hosting web + any forums , and domains !?
Ziv Grosu Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 8 Hours.* He can extend his demo-account to 24 hours. Don't be niggling

Lindsey_ Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 but whats going on - my site is closed???? It's a demo. You can not run a site off it for free
Sparkal Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 A demo is only to test out the software before you actually decide to buy it.
Keven Fox Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Yes I want to know where my free Rolls Royce and Mansion are meanwhile.
RobertMidd Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Yes I want to know where my free Rolls Royce and Mansion are meanwhile. It is funny but you have to take into account that the OP is not a native English speaker judging by the post and signature. So I would guess something got lost in tranlsation somewhere.
Connor T Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 You hosted your forum off the demo board. Holy cow. I'm sorry, but I fell out of my chair laughing.
Olivier Turbis Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 LOL, that was the better thread I've ever seen.
ErwinB Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 LOL, that was the better thread I've ever seen. I have to agree
bfarber Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 Ok guys, I think this thread has played out enough. ;) To the original poster - our demos are time-restricted and expire after 24 hours, typically. You must purchase a license, or a hosting plan (which includes a license) in order to setup a site using IP.Board. If you have any questions contact our sales team.
