bfarber Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 You are allowed one board per license. If you purchased one license you are allowed one live installation (and one non-accessible test installation).
Lindsey_ Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Ok thanksIm going to install ipb for skin changes and test them out for a few daysand im gonna put a password on the test one
AtariAge Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 I always have to do a manual upgrade since I have quite a few files I've changed. For any files that I modify I always stick "BEGIN AtariAge" and "END AtariAge" comments at the beginning and ending of the modification. This greatly helps when I'm using a diff tool to spot changes in my source files that I need to merge into the new source files when new versions of IP.Board, IP.Gallery and/or IP.Blog are released. Still takes a while to go through the files (depending on how many files have been updated), but not really that difficult to do.Skin changes can still be a headache, though.. ..Al
atomicknight Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 I always update manually by comparing files using WinMerge, which computes file differences and highlights them for you. It saves a lot of time, especially when between releases with many changes.
