Image in the invisionpower.com still says "IP.Board Version 2.2 Now Available" and in IP.Board's own page, "New Version 2.2" :)

I just installed mine and I have to say the new layout and changes in version 2.3.0 is fantastic, especially ACP... everything is laid out in the right order, and in the right place.

Guys you have done a great job.

Oh yeah I did not notice that... never mind I would imagine they will get around to changing it... :)

The smiley :'( still doesn't work with IP.Board 2.3 :(

If you install it and then try to edit your emotions it says right at the top of the screen

Note: It is recommended to NOT include these special characters: ' , "

This can cause the emoticon not to display properly.

so your apostrophe is illegal

I'm going to upgrade when all of the modifications I use are upgraded to function with 2.3.0. :)

I don't want to state the obvious too much but: you guys may wish to update your current available software image on your website.

Do you (IPS) really think it's a good idea to make custom BBCode pre-parsed? OK, it reduces parsing time when loading topics, but firstly, this means you need to rebuild all posts (and signatures, PM's, etc.) after an upgrade to make any custom BBCode in older content (i.e. before the upgrade) actually work. And secondly, surely this means that if you every modify the HTML for an existing BBCode, you will need to rebuild all posts?

BBCode is pre-processed like built in BBCode? Oh crap... I had a mod that allowed me to use "dynamic bbcode". Basically when the page loaded you would get something different when a database entry changed... Now that isn't possible anymore...? Wish there was an option to set which custom bbcodes are pre-processed and which ones are post-processed if that's the case... I don't have the mod installed anymore mainly because I got fed up with installing mods.. But it was useful. And I would like to know more about this... You have to rebuild the posts? What if I have 700 thousand of them?

I downloaded 2.3, and unless I'm blind, where is /style_images/pro/? Where is the new skin? I'm assuming it's not there because the images aren't there.

Also the version number no longer displays in the header of the files.

The new skin is in the resources directory, in gzipped archives. The installer and upgrader now use the skin API to import them :)

Am I missing some files, or is the ACP home page supposed to look like this:

I barely finished setting up my forums running 2.2 yesterday and was ready to open this weekend. If this is how the ACP looks now, and I have nothing wrong, then 2.2 looked a LOT better.

CTRL-Reload to clear your cache -- assuming you did run the upgrader?
