Gee a summer mid release means probably in September if last minute changes aren't made I am debating whether to use it or go with a free solution or my friends custom developed CMS, but if it integrates with hosting then I should get it... I think information and features should be released so we can give feedback about it, or get a general idea, a possible beta or screenshots would be nice, because if I can't test it then I'm not going to pay for it... and figure out its not something I wanted.

Pricing is another topic :P

There was a private beta for it a long while ago.

Thanks for posting Lindy. It's good to hear that Nexus is finally nearing completion (obviously a lot of people are interested in Nexus, as it is the 3rd most popular topic in this forum in the last 30 days). :)

Thanks for your interest! It's very much alive and in development each and every day. It, along with our business suite on the whole (including IP.Dynamic) has changed course slightly, but we feel the wait will be well worth it. Based on past experiences, we've kept it under wraps and have not released much information as of yet to ensure that it's ready for primetime at time of presentation. A summer (mid) release is expected.

Now, see. That's the kind of communication needed for all your products. If Dynamic is pushed back into 2008, then say, early 2008. You don't have to give specifics, but give a timeframe.

So if mid-summer it comes out...September - October we will see a final. I will wait until January to buy just to smooth all the bugs left from betas that could have been missed.

Do you know when mid-summer is :) It isnt even summer yet, June 21st is, Mid summer will be late august-september, same time IPB 2.2 came out in beta probably, it probably wont reach final until at least Christmas again :)

I would believe that most of the bugs would be ironed out from all the extensive testing over a long period of time from the various different groups (such as beta testers, staff, management, etc.).

I know most of you probably already read this, but anyone who doesn't regularly visit the forums might find this post interesting:

In the coming weeks expect more information on the next series of software updates for our products. Thank you for your continued interest and business!

Hopefully we might hear a little more about Nexus, although possibly it is just talking about IPB and its associated products.

i kinda got fed up of waiting for this and went for WHM Autopilot, and some other scripts for the other features, its been a long wait but if nexus can do what the many scripts i have got can do, then the wait will be worth it.

Do you not read other topics =/ They have stated in numerous other products that a release was expected mid-summer, do you mind waiting until we get into the first few weeks of mid-summer before you say your fed up... mid-summer has pratically just begun.

Brandon has said they are at crunch time and are very close to a beta, I dont really care how long it is, I will wait :)

They've been saying this for two years... or is that not a long enough wait? I was fed up ages ago. I commend those who've been able to last this long.

Brandon said they were at crunch time last Spring after apologizing for a delayed public beta promised in January 2006. Reality set in yet?

I realize it's been a long, challenging wait. We're regretful that it's taken so long, however, we're confident that once you see the reason behind the delay, you'll appreciate the wait. We've released information to beta testers last week and betas are beginning this month. Hang in there just a little bit longer. Been there, heard that, I know.... but we're quite serious. :)

Sounds optimistic, cool do we get anymore screenshots or those videos to see what it looks like, or will IPS put up a beta demo, for people to look around and poke in and out of? Like a default installation, even though I know what it looks like on the main website.

How to get into the beta? Is there any possibility?

I'm afraid the beta testing group has been set and in place for some time, and there's not a likelihood of accepting more beta testers at this time. When IPS needs beta testers, an announcement is made. If you see such an announcement it will advise how to apply.

Thanks for the info.

As I'm probably not the only one waiting for Nexus, hopefully you will at least notice, when the beta's are released to testers, that will probably at least give us some idea, how far along the process is.

And thanks again for keeping everyone up-to-date, you've done a great job ;)
