Is there a roadmap to the next release? 2.2.?

Unless there is another major security vulnerability, there will be no 2.1.7

Even if there is, it won't have any new features, or anything like that.

As of right now, IPB 2.2 BETA 1 is the next release of Power Board...

I would expect so, the new acp looks quite finished from what i saw in matt's blog.

And the roadmap still reference 2.1. Could the text at least be updated to 2.2? Also, am I correct to assume the gray, "delayed for future release" items are going to make it into 2.2?

I can't confirm whether any of the gray features are going to make it into 2.2.

Completely abstracting the language bits from the ACP is unlikely for 2.2, I must say unfortunately.
