It'd be so awesome if the PMs could be setup to be like a conversation, much like google's Gmail system. It's much more organized :D

Also, there should be an icon for "replied PMs". I don't know why this was left out. :(

I agree too. A forum's strength in its ability to save everything discussed, and have the points avaliable for review.

Because this is a good idea - IPB isn't likely to implement it.

Agreed, but...why would you want #2 (I'm assuming it's a button to bump topics?) That seems like spamming made easy.

Yeah, #2 can be replaced with something more major.

It's funny that this topic is brought up. I believe after it was posted (unless it was farther back), the database structure of the PM system was adjusted to handle this kind of functionality. PM's were split into two tables, one for the topic and one for the message content itself. So, as it stands right now, this should be relatively simple to do. Maybe it will actually come to fruition in 3.0? :)
