Has anyone been able to turn on the paid clubs feature? I don't see making the club paid after activating the feature Also the members group does not contain the settings of the clubs

Allow users to open the menu, choose a category, and then hide it to keep the interface uncluttered. In pinned mode, the menu should remain visible while navigating

Is it possible to add a second sidebar in the Pages section? My project is focused on construction, geophysics, geology, geotechnics, and metro tunnel projects. It will also function as a news agency. I want to design my homepage similar to a news page, but I am unable to add a second sidebar. Could this feature be considered for a future update?

Since the engine supports account registration and includes account profiles, it would be great to have the ability to set a custom tag or username for the profile, such as website.com/@nickname, instead of something like website.com/23423-nickname. Additionally, the same feature could be implemented for clubs, allowing them to set a custom tag or name as well. For example: website.com/clubs/@name, website.com/guilds/@name, or website.com/teams/@name, depending on how these groups are named on the specific website (e.g., clubs, communities, guilds, etc.).

Hello, in Version 4 User could choose which Forum Index to use. What is with Version 5. Can other users choose Table, Grid, Fluid or Feed Forum Index? Because somebody sent me a private message and told that he did not like Grid Option.

Hello everyone, In preparation for an upgrade to v5, I am currently playing with my test environment. Now I have the problem that I get the error message “EX0” after logging in to the AdminPanel or when I want to call up topics in the forum (only as a user, as a guest I can read EVERYTHING in the forum). Even the test environment has already been moved to another server to see if there could be problems with the environment... I don't see any error messages in the log or in the developer console of the browser. All file permissions are correct, I have even deleted all old v4 files with the exception of the upload folder... This is more of a general question but also a suggestion. Is there any way we can get a page editor block to were we can put blocks that span the entire width of the community for the top and bottom of the page with the side bar. So basically it would go on top/bottom of the side bar and main content?

I created and added two "page" categories to the site menu with different page names. In the first page, I added the WYSIWYG Editor widget, inserted some text, saved it, and the text was successfully saved and displayed. Then I switched the menu to the other category and returned to the first page, but the text was gone. I tried several times to add the text I needed, but it kept disappearing. In the end, I decided to delete this page in the admin panel and create a new one with the same name. Now, there's an error. Invision Community v5.0.0 Beta 8

Yes, it's that time of the week where I spend 20-30 minutes of my life thinking of a terrible pun on a number. Our weekly beta release is here! We have a bunch of fixes for you, along with a tidy up of the new tag page and an update to the editor drop down menus to make it clearer what everything does and to make it a bit better on mobile. I have turned off the 'post topic' option, which I had previously enabled. But I was not happy with the result because it quoted the entire article instead of the first few lines, so I turned that option off. Now every time I publish an article it is also published on the forum. Any solution? I have also pressed the Clear System Caches button.

Finally having a play with the Beta, seeing what my site can look like. I have a question. The forum icons, is there any way to have a separate icon for dark mode? Our default icon that we use for all forums is black and that can't be seen in dark mode.

In Invision Community 5 there is a deprecation hint. Multiple file storage locations will be deprecated in a future release. It is recommended that you start consolidating files to a central location. Currently, I have all in uploads but my files from Downloads. This directory is outside webroot. What does this hint exactly mean? Only, that the multiple options Advertisements, Attachments, Badges etc. are moved to one directory or does it mean that the files from Downloads have to be moved as well? This is currently not in your deprecation tracker.

When I set the forums for grid and upload a cover photo for each forum, they get uploaded to the uploads directory on the server but never appear in the forums Sorry just realized this is the incorrect forum to post in, could someone please move (Version 5.0 Beta 😎

I am asking because I see a lot of "ratings" in templates and files but no option in the forums to enable it. {{if $topic->container()->allow_rating}} {template="rating" group="global" location="front" app="core" params="'large', $topic->rating_hits ?
