First off... Are photos uploaded in the gallery supposed to count as a content item posted, as far as achievement rules, or do these only apply to items posted in the forums? Secondly, are the Achievement Rules going to be expanded? They have so much potential with gamifying the site, and increasing participation, but right now it is so limited on what types of things you can do/

Hey guys. I hope everyone is as busy testing and experimenting as I am 🙂 Today I would like to test the “most helpful” and “Community Expert” function. The summary of posts works great, but I have not yet been able to get the system to the point where a user has received the “Community Expert” badge. Is it possible to provoke this so that you can see it live in Beta 6? What about the metrics ? How can i test this in my dev environment ?

I'm going to post this here, because I had posted it under the Blog about tags in v5, but it hasn't been approved or responded to in a few days, and tags are probably going to be an important part of a new site I just put online. So, I am a little late to the tags game, but I am starting a new community for my wife, and I believe tags will be an important part of helping people find the information they need quickly. I am starting the site with v5, and since I never used tags on a v4 site, I'm not sure how they were implemented. Hi team, I have been trying to use Backblaze S3 for over a week without success. Here are the issues I am facing: My files do not transfer to S3 storage after I fill in the required details and save the settings, even after waiting 12 hours (the site is almost empty, and I don't have users yet). When I select only attachments and downloads to be stored on Backblaze S3, new files are uploaded when I submit a new download. However, I get a "500 error" when I click the download button for a new file. Images are uploaded to Backblaze S3 and displayed correctly, but I receive a "500 error" when clicking on the image. Attachments are not uploaded …

The default user nav looks like this. I want the user nav to look like this. I think I can do it by hooking a rearranged user nav code to the user nav template in Dev mode and then using CSS to hide the original user nav. Is there another method I can use to achieve this mod?

Will it be possible in v5 to upload images to pages media files via REST? This was not possible in v4 and I hope it was addressed in v5. At the moment the media feature is largely useless to me without ability to use the uploaded files in pages. Thank you.

Hey guys... I have a simple question. If I have 4.7.19 as a Live system and I install a new version in my development environment, then the settings in the admin panel of the development environment are set to default. Now I would like to export all settings from the “live system” and import them into the “development system”. I have not found a function for this. Can anyone help me? Why only 4.7.19 although this is the v5 beta discussion, simply because I will do an intermediate migration with my forum. I'm starting from scratch, but want to keep the settings.

Hi I run a music forum. I have 6 pages that use PHP blocks and JavaScript. They are music theory tools, a rhyme tool and an interactive “circle of fifths” music composition tool. There might be others! What options do I have? Once upon a time I could code in PHP, but it’s been a long time and things have moved on. I haven’t any real Invision development experience. I have used internal databases before to enrich other databases, like with countries or profiles. These databases are not supposed to be shown, or accessed, but only added through the database relationship field. As I must have a page and as I must set permissions to allow users to see the database and the records, how is this supposed to work? Am I missing something or is this one of those scenarios where I have to figure out how to detach a database from a page in the database for this to work?

When I try to iframe this web link below, it displays in the editor. When I save the comment, the link does not save to the post. See attached images below. When I save the forum post, the iframe is not saved. The iframe domain is set to allowed in ACP.

Hi, On Safari: Many times there was a problem with .. (for example'ipsappzone.com'). - when I enter, for example, the user profile or a given product, this problem does not occur On Opera: When it loads the page, it immediately redirects to the same one and loads again. This happens on my iPhone X (16.7.10) - it's normal on the computer.

I upgraded my forum from v4 to v5 and when logged out of my site receive the following error. I couldn't find anything in the AdminCP like it mentioned by might be looking in the wrong spot. Thanks!! When the setting "Users can see topics posted by other users?" is disabled (to create a private mod/admin only forum for the end user) the following error is displayed for the end-user AFTER posting a thread in the subforum. "[[Template forums/front/index/forumRow is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]" The subforum also vanishes for the end user. This affects both beta 5 and beta 6.

Hi I have a problem with developer mode. After updating to IPS 5 and installing DEVTOOLS, I do not have any Developer Mode. And when I uncomment the lines in constants.php (define( 'IN_DEV', TRUE );) the page loads with only text and no option to do anything.
