Not a fan of the small icons in the new themes in 5 What made Invision board great to me was its big and bold look it had since I purchased it back in June of 2011. I know it is subjective, but I feel the small, capitalized fonts and small icons deter from that signature Invision board look/appeal. Other aspects of the theme are great, but don't feel tiny icons enhance the theme whatsoever. I hope you give us an option to display version 4 icon set on release. (This also applies to the side bar as well, because those icons do not stand out either (too small) The old theme was just perfect. \ Thanks for listening...

After updating to beta 8, there is a decrease in performance. What I mean is: - on December 5, PSI made a useful adjustment to its test platform, which eliminated the large TBT times. Dec 5, 2024 The CPU throttling factor for PageSpeed Insights has been adjusted to account for the low CPU performance benchmarks typical in PageSpeed Insights production environments. In general, this should result in increased lab data TBT scores for sites on mobile. Field data and desktop scores should not be affected. Hello guys, very noob question, and very late of me to ask this, however, when I download V5 (including dev) and copy all the file to my latest v4 IPB, and I cant access the ACP anymore, it says error 500. Any docs or link to point me out how do I test this v5 with our current setup (including data) ? Thanks - Allan

I'm honored to have been part of the beta program to test IC5, however my beta license keeps expiring and I'm not sure how many times I can ask for it to be renewed? Also at the moment I don't have much time to test or redesign my entire site for IC5 so I believe that will take some more time in the future. Will there be a way for us Cloud customers to stage the new site in IC5 before upgrading from v4? I'm expecting the upgrade to be a bit chaotic with so many things working differently, and I'm hoping for a chance to test things a bit more thoroughly before upgrading my live site. Thanks!

It was posted that the TipTop editor has only seven different font colours because not all font colours display clearly in both light and dark modes. If regular members could select font colours incompatible with light and dark modes, this could cause page viewing issues. This is true. However, the admin or a content publisher should have the option to choose any colours they need. Besides the seven available colours in the editor, many more colours can be used in both light and dark modes. Colours are essential for illustration and content creation. I see this Table of Contents extension on the Tiptop site. Can this feature be implemented in a forum Post or Pages app article to have a Table of Contents on the page? TipTop Creating a table of contents in a Pages article would be cool and helpful.

Hello Devs, I have an small doubt for access the topic URL (external connection system) I use: In the past I used something like this in my URL: /topic/{topic_id}-{forum_id} To open the topic, however these parameters are no longer functional in IC5. Could you tell me which parameters I should use to make it work correctly?

Hi All, Could I please request for additional options to be added to the Group Promotions function? Could we please have the option to promote a user to a secondary group if they join particular clubs. For example a dialog box such as this (maybe as tick box/es instead of a scrolling embed): This function would enable our community site to manage the connection of users into particular secondary groups giving them appropriate website permissions & access to areas of our website. On the user profile page and in Pages articles, we have the option to "Reposition cover photo". Can we also have this option to reposition the Blog app cover photos? This option is needed for correctly/evenly displaying the cover photos on blog entries. Pages app articles can reposition cover photo. Blog app entries cannot reposition cover photo.

I don't know what @Ehren thinks about this, but it would be nice to add "position:sticky" here so that the author column is always visible. This will eliminate the empty space.

I find the downloads homepage has too little info on it compared to its v4 version: Featured box: The button to directly download the file without opening its page is no longer included. I can see why it was removed, though. However, only the number of downloads is shown. Nothing for comments, reviews, purchases, or rating (well, I don't really care about this one 😹). What's New box: Lots of empty white space below the image/title since only the uploader name and date are shown. The image being much bigger than before only further increases the wasted space. Is there any reason not to use a newer and lighter format like avif, webP or even SVG for various icons like: applications/core/interface/logos/browsers/Edge.png static/resources/core_default_photo.png static/resources/core_upload.png static/resources/core_message.png static/resources/core_notification.png Not that I'm nitpicking, but why not add a default avatar in SVG? That's always one less resource to load.

Pagination in messages isn't working. If I click on any other page, I go from (link in pagination): See: to: then I'm redirected to the (main app) index. This has been happening for quite a while now. I never remember to report it.
