I'm not fully understanding the new theme editor. How do I modify the entire page without having to inject my code with pre-defined placements? My design is completely custom. I do not like IPS design personally. Am I missing where to access the raw template code?

It started on Beta4... if I edit a file, the category thumb is gone. On Beta5, they vanished. The only thing I did differently than usual, was to run the tool to rebuild support topics. That's what I got now: The image files exist and they are there on file view. Example: URL: https://www.sosinvision.com.br/index.php?/category/24-free-applications/

The link filtering system is impressive, but it has some flaws that I believe can negatively impact SEO. When adding a link to a website, the entire site allows that link to be followed by search engine systems. Someone with some knowledge of IPS (now IC) can exploit this and, even subtly, create harmful backlinks for specific sites (e.g., Site X or Y). This approach can lead to negative consequences. My suggestion is to implement a system similar to WordPress, where I can decide which links should be followed. First of all, I UNDERSTAND that I am using the beta version and installed in the Test url, after all the purpose is not to use it in the main forum. I upgraded from version 4.7.19 to version 5.0.0 Beta 7, although it appears to have finished, I can access the admincp but the website itself keeps giving a 500 error, how can I solve this? I've tried clearing the cache, but to no avail.

What’s the intended functionality for the new Database Navigation widget regarding opening the sub-menus? I am getting an inconsistent behaviour that doesn’t feel right. For a database with only one category, I see all entries always. That’s fine. But for databases with multiple categories, things get stuck in weird ways. Sometimes all sub-menus remain closed after clicking a link in the category tree. Sometimes a certain sub-menu remains open no matter what page in the category tree I am on. My expectation would be that the active sub-menu would always remain open, but I am not getting that behaviour at all.

In the beta 7 version, some changes were made in the profile, including the good and the bad, such as changing the followers box I demand that the followers box be returned as it was on the mobile phone, as it looks ugly like this when you have a lot of followers

Is it possible to add a second sidebar in the Pages section? My project is focused on construction, geophysics, geology, geotechnics, and metro tunnel projects. It will also function as a news agency. I want to design my homepage similar to a news page, but I am unable to add a second sidebar. Could this feature be considered for a future update?

Update: If you notice Pages article comments have vanished, do one of two things: Edit each database and under display add a value for comments per page. Wait until after 3pm GMT and apply the patch. 😇

How to create video embeds (YouTube, Vimeo) that fill the entire column? I can scale the entire video up and down, but after a certain max width or height, only the container scales and the video stays rather small. I see the same both on my site and on the IPS preview installation.

Just notice that when I logged in as a member I am able to edit the theme editor and use the page editor how do I make it so members cannot use it? I do not want members to be able to change my theme or page. Nevermind I fixed it!

In v5 beta6, Is there a way to set a custom profile field as the automated criteria/permission for access to a forum? For example, if a member selects AZ from a custom profile field called State, can an AZ Forum and/or Club be set to only allow members from AZ to have access?

Am working on a garage database for my sons homepage, all is done with pages databases , just wanted to share some sneak peaks how powerful pages is , there is still some bugs in some fields , I may release this to the public if there is interests from community . I would like to add an body background image for my site. What do I need to add for the CSS? I know for the header it is .ipsHeader__primary { background-image: url(https://www.mysitename.com/images/header.jpg); width: 100%; height: 100px; background-position: center top; background-size: cover; background-repeat: no-repeat; } Also, I would like to suggest maybe making it a little easier for people to be able to do so rather than having to add custom CSS

I install Beta6 on a copy of my live website. When I try to display a Pages App article, the web page is blank and gives these two errors. Do you have any idea if the issue is a bug? After adding a new member and a registration profile field and deleting them both in beta 6, when I try to sign-up a new member it generates Error code EX1064. Clearing cache doesn't help. Correct me if I am wrong, but in v4, doesn't the gallery images widget shows images in a horizontal format if you place it in the same column as your forum (and makes it a carousel if you have more images included than can be displayed)? When I try in v5, if I put them over the forums, like I recall being able to do in v4, they show up vertically and are massive in size. They look ok in the sidebar, as they are so MUCH smaller and it fits the narrow format, but it looks horrible in the forums column!
