The worst part is probably creating and assigning prefixes to forums (etc). I don't understand what you mean. I can't tell from your description. There could be other search constraints (a particular app or forum) that is preventing it from returning other results. Or maybe it's an outdated cache/search index. Again, sorry, I don't understand the question. Please go in FTP to uploads/logs/ to find your error logs, download 2015_11_29.php, and PM it to me. That should tell me what the actual error is. Do those results that don't have the prefix anymore still have it as a tag? IPB won't let you search for a prefix specifically, just a generic tag/prefix search. So any that don't have it as a prefix probably still have it as a tag. Depending on how you changed the prefix, if they are still there as tags, that may or may not be a bug. Otherwise, if no tags, could be an outdated tag cache--try recaching from this app's tools.

If whatever that is already supports tags and prefixes, then it should. If not, no. It does not add tag/prefix support to any app that does not already have it.

No. The app removes the open prefix option, you have to set each one up in the admin panel (Manage Prefixes) and then assign them to content containers (forums, etc.). Then you'll see those prefixes as a separate dropdown above the tag input. See the app screenshots and such.

No, multiple prefixes is not a feature--and I have no intention of adding it.

I have a likely fix for the node saving and copying issues. Waiting for confirmation before I put it up, as I can't reproduce everything reported.

Turn off the 'force tags to lowercase' setting. That's under Posting > Tags, as I recall--a global setting, not an app one. If you've had it enabled, though, you'll likely have to put some effort in fixing your existing tags/prefixes to not be lowercase anymore.

Got a PM about that today too. I'll be looking into it. It should be removing those fields before the node save is processed, but maybe that doesn't happen in some context.

Search sidebar would be a question for IPS. If you only want it for tag searches, that probably can't be done.

Oh, I see your problem. It's taking the first 75, not the most popular 75. You're not (as?) concerned about how it actually displays on the frontend.

I'm not sure what sorting methods would give good results. Seems to me random would hurt usability more than help. By weight would give a big gradient effect, rather than a traditional cloud. Can you give a screenshot of what you have?

Even if that was added, it wouldn't work the way you probably hope. All prefix and tag links go to search result pages; they don't filter a forum inline.

Pushed an update out, some little fixes and additions. This will likely be the last release targeted at 4.0. I've been going through testing on 4.1. I'm seeing a couple minor issues, like last post support being broken, and tag/prefix info not displaying at all on topic pages. Haven't gotten to the bottom of it yet. I'll release a new version when I have. What's New in Version 3.1.2 Fixed a conflict with IPS Gallery and possibly other apps. Added prefix bits to forum grid layout mode. Added an 'exclude tags' setting to the Tag Cloud widget.

Are you talking about 'Scooter MBK - Yamaha'? All of those in your screenshot are prefixes. That one in particular just isn't matched to anything in the application. The default prefix formatting looks like that red tag background instead of the gray that it was in 3.x. You can fix that just by adding a prefix record in the app for that text. Anything before the title is the prefix. Tags are listed to the right of the second line. e: Also note that prefixes are case-sensitive. It looks like that might be the problem. The formatted prefix is "Scooter MBK - YAMAHA". The unformatted ones have "Yamaha". @Noni I'll take that into consideration.

Pushed out version 3.1.1, some refinements and additions to the tag cloud widget. Prefix formatting, list format. Should clean up that formatting. Give it a shot.

I just pushed up a new version. This is the culmination of everything I've wanted to do for the past, oh, years. Settings should now work for all tag-enabled apps, not just forums, and there's a new Tag Cloud widget. The generic node support should work out-of-box, but I only had two applications to actually test it with. It's fine for Forums and Calendar. I can't guarantee compatibility with all possible third-party applications, but let me know if you run into problems. What's New in Version 3.1.0 Added ability to use custom tag/prefix settings with all tag-enabled content types. Added a highly configurable Tag Cloud widget. Added min/max tags settings overrides. Changed prefix behavior to store separate from predefined tags. The closed tags list does not have to include prefixes anymore. Fixed a possible error on search results.

There is no screen of preferences for IP.Pages. As I said, to my knowledge IP.Pages doesn't support tags and prefixes at all out of box. This app does not add them. I don't offer a trial or refund period. What you see on the details page is what you get.

What kind of compatibility are you expecting? I wasn't aware IP.Pages had any tag or prefix support at all.
