  1. Points and Reputation points are 2 different systems? Is there a doc somewhere?
  2. @Nathan Explosion thanks for the effort. I pretty much just accepted the fact that I need a theme developer to clean things up.
  3. Ok, that clarifies a number of things. Thanks for handling a number of n00b questions in the last week or so.
  4. @Jim M I think you are actually answering my question. Should I expect a correctly coded template to be fully responsive?
  5. @Jim M Honestly "mostly unmodified" or "lightly modified" is likely more accurate. My developer's exact words are "There is no custom javascript on the pages. The ads are inserted via Invision's ad manager, and are standard image uploads with a click URL - they are not script ad tag inserts." The URL is https://ballofspray.com/
  6. The out-of-the-box articles template is not responsive with media? As an example, YouTube videos do not resize to mobile browsers. Is this just the result of a bare-bones template? A setting or is this the way it is?
  7. Funny. My dev says he has not touched it either but now it works. I love technology.
  8. I mean in an article on my front page. When I am originally authoring it See https://ballofspray.com/
  9. What triggers the “Read More” page break in the page/articles? Is this a coded item or a setting? Can I control where the break is on every article?
  10. @Jim Mdid you edit my site? Is working now. I am stoked.
  11. @Jim M Stored Access Information is updated. Thanks
  12. @Gary My comments are not really about LazyLoading or stars. If you look at a toolset like Joomla there is a lot more documentation throughout the admin section. Not saying that a new user does not have a learning curve with joomla but most admin choices are well documented. If you look at Vanilla documentation is not linked to in the admin section like Joomla but everything has an easy to find explanation on the Vanilla site. The IPS documentation is not bad. I am just saying the admin learning curve might be steeper than with Joomla. To be clear - I left Joomla and Vanilla because I think IPS is a better system. It has only been a week and I am sure IPS is a cleaner and more powerful tool. Attached is a screenshot from one of the best-respected Joomla 3rd party tools
  13. @opentypeThis is an edit to code or an admin setting? Thanks
  14. Can I edit the text or links of the “The page you requested does not exist” error page?
  15. Can I edit the text on that error page? That seems like the most prudent solution.
  16. My migration is a little messy and a lot of old links are broken. Is there a way to redirect like a 404 to a good page instead of giving the user the "The page you requested does not exist" message? In other words, can broken links should be redirected to my forum index page?
  17. How do I escalate my help request? The menu is only broken on the articles page / my home. My developer ( who I have faith in ) has hit the wall on this issue.
  18. Ended up having to have my server settings tweaked.
  19. I placed no custom JavaScript on the site. Not in the templates or anywhere else.
  20. We are having difficulty with the drop down menu on the pages/databases section of our site, which is the front page. The drop down menus do not work, and neither does the theme selector. They work fine elsewhere. The only changes to the theme are additional ad placements. However, we've tried a completely stock theme, and the same issue happens. The site is https://ballofspray.com/ When logged in the main menu on the home page links to https://ballofspray.com/#elUserLink_menu From mobile, it just goes to https://ballofspray.com/# (nowhere)
