  1. They should be able to import themselves a CSV... not everywhere is used Apple, nor ical... I didn't know of ical until some minutes, and here Apple is already expensive in front of a normal PC... so the percentage of Apple is very low... The big majority of people here make their calendars in Excel, and if they don't know how to export to CSV they allways can send the webmaster the Excel and he export to CSV and then import the calendar which will be quicker than import manually the calendar...
  2. But assume there are more than 50 users who can send you their own calendar and you want to merge all calendars... if you make entering manually to them, they will not send the calendars to your web... if they send calendars digitalized is a hard task, so a must search for a method for importing them...
  3. I'm searching somebody who wants to make a Calendar mod more complete than the one offered by IPS, and until now... nobody... :( And, obviously importing CSV could be a great feature...
  4. I'm sure they will release something next thursday... perhaps CCS... It will be their present for my birthday... an important bithday for me !!!.... I will be 40 !!!!!!!!!!!!!! (w00t)

    Ticket Prioritizing

I think that it's CPanel that has a hel system like that and if you don't find the answer in the sugested help, you can leave the question... And this could reduce the volume of work for tickets... But there would be another work, which would be making good and huge databases of explanations and videos of lots of frequently asked questions...
  6. Totally agree with what you're saying...
  7. It had no special name... is was only a license... --> New Order --> 10/07/04 --> $69.95 Renewal: Invision Power Board Yearly License --> 10/07/05 --> $69.95 It was a yearly license... But, better wait one or two days as Matt says...
  8. If you want to know how much did you pay, you must go your "Client Area" to "Your Invoices" and there you will find a history of ALL they invoice you've paid to IPS... And that's very useful for remember things...
  9. --> New Order --> 10/07/04 --> $69.95 --> Upgrade to Perpetual License --> 10/24/06 --> $115.05 This is what paid when upgrading from standard.. And this is what paid buying directly Perpetual --> Invision Power Board Perpetual License --> 09/27/06 --> $185.00 I don't know lifetime... Regards from Barcelona
  10. I think that's not true at all... When Perpetual licenses were offered you said there were identically to standard ones and the only difference was in the price of the yearly support... That's the reason it was justified to pay the amount it costed to have it... because paying every year the support you should have 6 years of support standard license ($120/$20=6 years)... But, in my opinion the problem is that if IPS creates a service which cost money you can logically make to pay it... but such as you do with IP.Blog, IP.Gallery and IP.Downloads and as you will do with IP.CCS... But don't create differences... do you feel is too low the $30 fee for support so increase to $40 or $50 and give the service to those who have support... but don't create the difference... please!!! I think we are not second division customers... NICE !!!
  11. These are FANTASTIC news... At the end you'll do what will be more useful for your company... But at least, you are listening us... the customers !!! And that's very important for the success of the company... Thanks for reading Regards from Barcelona
  12. I see this the beginning of try to convert Perpetual Licenses in standard licenses... There weren't availabe Manage Languages... a new feature and others features... The problem for the future will be what do you consider service or part of the program... I understand very much the need of pay the cost of your service... But I don't agree who you want to pay this service... Yes, and obviously it has a cost... But, if it's a service why do you try that only part of your customers pay for it ???... the reasonable would be all pay for it... Yes that's right... I'm not interested in that service... I have perpetual with Blog, Gallery and support (fantastic one!!!)... but I a Perpetual license customer want to try the service must change their license and if after a year don't need or like that service he can't recover his license so he loss his "privileges"... I think it would be better to increase the price of support (for example) When I bought my IPB License it was much cheaper than now ($69,95) then I upgrade to my Perpetual License ($115,05), then you make the price increase because you're giving more features to the software... I believe that this will be the best solution... Yes, it is different that IP.Blog or Gallery... the price for some customers (change their licenses) and the price for others (included)... I think it would be better to consider as a new add-on as you will do with CCS which I'm sure I'll buy... Thanks for reading
