Any browser, Lets say If I copy the cookies from chrome and use these on another desktop in chrome/firefox i will be able to logged in without password duel facto authentication. Yes. But this is suspicious if that I can use the cookie to login of different desktop. Is there a way if I close my browser the session will be clear and I've to login again?
-
Hi, I want to clear the session whenever my browser closed. Also I want to clear cookies if I close my browser. Currently expiration cookies showing this value- "expirationDate": 1678178602.244715, that means Mar 07 2023. Can i reduce this? Another thing i want to know that, if I copied my own browser's cookies to another pc on a different browser and surprisingly I managed to open logged in account of my website with existing sessions even after Public IP changed!! How to prevent this. Please advise.

Marketplace error
Pushpendra Singh Chauhan replied to Pushpendra Singh Chauhan's topic in Technical Problems
Hi, After whitelisting the previous error gone, but I am still not able to login to market place. Is there anything still need to be whitelisted? -
I am still waiting for response on this. I've checked many websites developed on IPS, all have same issue. I checked DateTime.php and understood IPS is not converting time to IST so the default GMT is displaying. Why the developer not checking this issue? We have 5 licenses so expect support. At this level I am getting disappointed.

Actually I checked this on 6-7 different desktop on two different Indian cities, All files are showing different times on google chrome and same on firefox. Your team need to check this in keeping mind that this is happening to IST. Also I find that on localhost \system\DateTime\DateTime.php file is displaying default timezone Asia/Calcutta ideally this should be Asia/Kolkata. The value in php.ini is correct.

Tried this. This just remove the line marked in red in above screenshot. @Marc Stridgen @Jim M Problem is something else. Even your website is behaving in the same manner. I select a random file on invision community to check date time I use this: https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/9817-snow/ Checked this as a logged in user and as a guest in google Chrome both times are different Logged in user in Chrome Guest in Chrome In Firefox the time is same for guest and Logged in user. All My websites are showing correct time in Firefox for logged in and guest users. This is something happening in IPS suite not in my site. Is there a fix for this? Please ask your development team to check this and provide a fix.

@Randy Calvert thanks you tried this. I just try on a fresh installation on localhost my php version is 7.4.29. Made ACP General Configuration entry- Physical Address: India. Checked php.ini there is [Date] date.timezone=Asia/Kolkata Now I uploaded file on 22:02 IST and this is showing file uploaded time 17:32 that is -5:30. means showing same for guest and logged in user but not showing in IST. I checked php.info there date.timezone : Asia/Kolkata but showing Default timezone: UTC I am sure this is the problem. I tried to change Default timezone to IST but could not succeed. Is there any more place for setting this rather then php.in. Please suggest.

Should I remove to test to remove guest cache? Yes we use VPN to access server, that can't be shared as per policy. I can share whatever files do you require or show on any communication plateform like GMeet. Should I give you ACP account access? Today I installed a fresh version on localhost the same thing happening here ie IST for logged in users GMT for guests. I guess this is a bug and should be tested by development team once.

Yes 5 guest minutes cache is enabled. But I tried to clear cache many times but nothing happened. It's still showing time in GMT for guests. Since site is geofenced all my users/guest visiters are on IST. No this was left as default only server time was setted to IST. Added this in php.ini but nothing happened. If this is the reason why this is showing IST to logged in uses and GMT to guests?
