You would need to update the credentials so we can access and via the member encountering this.
I inputted the credential so that you can sign in to our staging site - https://stage.npnparents.org/admin/. Our developer is working on giving you ftp access.

Could you please provide the user ID of the a user who encountered this? Typically, only a guest is present if they have not fully validated their account yet.
We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section.
We look forward to further assisting you.
What do I need to update in the "Access Information" panel? Would you like to sign in to our development site? If so, I can email the credentials to you.

When a person, who has never visited our website, pays for a product on our site, and chooses not to save the credit card information on the checkout page, "Guest" is passed to our payment gateway, Stripe, as the payer's name. Also, the payer's email address information is missing. This causes additional work for our accountant, who must look up the payer's name, for our accounting system. Please pass the payer's name and email address for all transactions. Attached is a screenshot from our test Stripe account. We are on IPS version v4.7.14
You can duplicate the error by going to our development site. Typically, the person starts by selecting the Parent Membership product on our registration page - https://stage.npnparents.org/store/?do=register . The system then prompts the person to create a profile during the checkout process.
FYI: we use Quickbooks for our accounting system. Our accountant downloads the transactions from Stripe and imports the transactions into our Quickbooks account.

Thank you very much.

I found a case where the guest paid for a membership product and opted to save the credit card info, but the Stripe transaction had "Guest" as the name. Please fix the system so that every Stripe payment has the payer's name and email address.

I have worked with several payment gateways (Authorize.Net, Stripe, etc). It is standard practice to have the payers name in the payment transaction. Accounting auditors expect the name information for every transaction. Please fix this for us.
-
Also, I noticed that the person's address was passed to Stripe. Isn't the name information available for transmitting to Stripe at the checkout point?

I think I used the wrong terminology. We view a person as a guest if the person has not paid for a membership product. I apologize for the confusion. Here is the process that generated the Stripe transaction that has no name info:
. A person who has never visited our site goes to our registration page and selects a membership product (add to cart).
. The person opts to checkout; the person clicks the "Continue as New Member" on the checkout page. See https://stage.npnparents.org/store/?do=register.
. The person fills out the "Create New Account" form (name, postal address, email address, etc.).
. the person fills out the payment form but does not select the "Save this card for future purchases and automatic renewals" option.
Would you please try it on our dev site? See https://stage.npnparents.org/store/?do=register
Thank you.

The person is purchasing a membership product from our registration page. Here is the page on our prod site - https://www.npnparents.org/store/?do=register.

Yes, it seems that the issue occurs when a guest pays for a product. We require that a person pays for a membership product, before we consider the person as an active member. It is customary to have name information for all transactions, in an accounting system. Our accounting auditors require the name information.

Hi. Update the software to the latest version where only registered users can make donations.
We want the donation process as simple as possible. We don't want to require donors to sign in the website first and then fill out the donation form. Please add reCAPTCHA to the donation form.
-
Fraudsters attempted over 1,700 donation for $1 via our donation form - /customers/donations/. Fortunately, Stripe refused the payments. We believe that the fraudsters were testing stolen credit card information. Please add reCAPTCHA requirement to the form.
We are a non-profit organization. We need the ability to accept donations from all parents in our community. Restricting the form to our members will not work for us. Thank you.

The poster's anonymous display name would change in every thread; it would be difficult for another member to determine the poster's identity.
It is confusing to follow the conversation when all the anonymous posts are under "Anonymous". Our members need to differentiate the multiple voices in a conversation.

For any changes in this feature, please make them in our official Feature Suggestion forum for further evaluation so that your request does not get lost in our support forum. Currently, this is working as intended. Sorry I do not have better news for you at this time.
FYI: I was able to show a unique display name for each anonymous poster, within a thread, by taking the topic number and adding the last 4 digits of the poster's ip address and 357. (Example: "Anon194637".) It was simple code that I added to the forum template. Please consider adding it as an option for the Anonymous feature. Thank you.

In Pages, I would like to show the category name in a custom block. I get the category id using "{{$holdcat = \IPS\cms\Databases\Dispatcher::i()->categoryId;}} '. How can I get the category's name?

Would you consider adding a feature that allows an admin to download the attendee list? We would like the attendee first name, last name, and email address.

Hello Adriano,
My problem is the notification of an event happing is sent the day after the event. It looks like a time zone calculation issue. The latest example this happened to was this morning. I've attached screen shots of the event, the task log and my email. I have no problem with when the task fires (at 3am) as we don't start events before 6am local time, just with the fact it notified me of an event from the previous day. We are in American/Chicago TZ so the calendar event was scheduled correctly.
Regards,
Mark
Yes, that is the issue that I described in October.

Your plugin is much better than the IPS anonymous feature. Please consider upgrading it for IPS 4.6. Our parent community uses your anonymous postings in order to share very private information about their families.
