Updated to 1.0.5 New Features Attachments Allow you members to upload attachments directly to the editor auto embedding videos and images New permission to the chatroom matrix for what member groups can download attachments

I'll add a mass delete in 1.0.5, also coming is attachments what you will drag and drop to upload like you can here there will be another group permission in the matrix for who can download them for each chatroom

What do you mean? there is a deafult tab in the menu manager for the index page of the app, and if you wanted you could add children of x/y/z chatrooms as dropdowns to it or how ever you wanted to do it

@JustHatched @Mr. Fierce God I can't reproduce this, the widget sends fine for me, it could of been a cache of the old js, clear your cache in the ACP and let me know how it goes

1st will be easy enough 2nd will only be the way you want it if you do that throughout the whole site, what you will need to do is go to your ACP and Themes > Editor > Toolbars and you can select what groups and use each editor button and also where they can use the editor button, so you could disable it in x/y/z app and enable in a/b/c for selected groups Also I did not say keep requests to a min here, I don't regually check PM's for requests etc I always browse the support topics, I would want every request posted here

no it is done like that on purpose, widgets can be placed anywhere so people might not want to chat and they would show online, if they go to the chatroom that's different because they do want to chat so a online list there makes sense

Updated to 1.0.4 New Features Added a widget for chatrooms ( These should be placed in the header or footer sections not the sidebar ) You can choose what chatroom to show and also if you wish to show the chatroom rules in the widget The widget does not support the ability to send private messages, they will need to visit the chatroom to chat privately Added a new feature for when you send a message, it will now scroll to the messages position The auto scroll will only work for the user sending a message, it will not auto scroll for other users incase they are reading the message list, it will be annoying to be reading it and constantly getting scrolled to new messages Added a new icon to the message list for when the messages are private, this will allow the users to see who the messages have been sent to If users have selected to send private messages the list of users in the message will now stay there after the message is sent. if the users no longer wishes to chat privately they will need to remove the users from the list. ( This is to stop any users thinking they are still talking privately and sending a public message by mistake ) Re-wrote some js for the chatrooms making it a lot smoother to run and receive new messages Changed the scrollbar on the message list to a more compact looking one

been trying to figure out why it might happen, but came up short, can you PM me login details, ( NOT ACP ) just a normal member and I can login to chat on front end and check it out for now

yes but are they logged in anonymously? it works the same as the online user list where it won't show anonymous users in the list

all the scrolling will be sorted in 1.0.4, I have wrote 3 different versions for it to work and will go with the smoothest one, I can look into a setting for the placement of the editor but the normal text is not something I really want to do, the editor is a powerful tool and does lots and lots more than normal text, if you wanted something like that then I could probably give you a custom.css code and it will hide the editor toolbar buttons making it seem like a normal text box only allowing normal typing etc it will look like this

the actual attachments are not in use at the minute, they are being wrote into it though, they ain't available on the demo, if you want to use the insert other media button then I can give you a custom.css code to add and it will allow them, The attachments will either be in 1.0.4 or 1.0.5 with the ability to choose what groups can download the attachments etc

Thanks, glad you like it, The permissions for who can delete are done in the ACP moderator permissions, if you have no restriction it should allow you, if you are restricted then you will need to enable the chatroom content permissions

you can limit who can chat via group permissions for each chatroom Don't know why this was said, Each chatroom has group permissions on who can wisper and who can't, there is no restriction per member though It won't close but will show 0 online, you can enable and disable each chatroom via the ACP though

Could be something to do with post before register when I think about things, I will look into it properly this week

When does this happen? that is for when a member replies to a topic it awards points, but I can not reproduce it nor have I had anyone say it is throws that error.

Just go to your ACP and applications then click to install then upload the downloaded .tar file then let it install, then go to the community tab and chat and create chatrooms

I'll see what I can do, if anything I can give you a custom patch to upload to your ftp to make it that way I have no problems moving blocks into them positions, I just tried on the demo and dev site and both worked fine

what do you mean by that? front page or main chat page? yeah the sidebar is disabled, if you put a block into the sidebar it makes the editor / message list / online list look horrible and skinny, you can add widgets to the header and footer serctions though it is only the sidebar what is disabled

yes if you have it to delete then it will delete all their messages if marked as a spammer
