Finally partially fixed by me :) IPS only confirm my changes :)
-
I'll send ticket about this. I have had problems with this and I don't know why.
-
In Tracker some bugs are fixed for 3.0.1. I think 3.0.1 will be here soon after 3.0.0. I'll wait for newer version.
-
OK, now all please clear your cache folders and let's go to finding bugs in final release! :P :D

This topic is related to How to change FURL?, but now I have only one question about links:
Why we have this:http://forums.invisionpower.com/topic/285504-how-to-change-furl/
but not this?:
http://forums.invisionpower.com/topic-285504/how-to-change-furl/
In my opinion second variant looks better than first, topics number should be together with "topic" and name of topic should be stay alone. Therefore I want only simple answer what is reason why we use the first variant. I don't want answer like "Because Matt says so" but trully reason. If you look into my topic you'll see that I have had problems with second variant. Is that problem?
Because Announcements has link in format:
mytestboard.info/forum-109/announcement-7-oznamenie/
but forums and topics not.
Thanks. -
This board is now faster than my RC2 test board! :o

I upgraded my test board to RC2 and it's running fine. Little slower than my licensed board 2.3.6 but faster than this community board.
-
I think there is something wrong. OK, I try to explain what is suspicious.
Read some text in any post and double click on random desired word, like this:
On other sites when I double click on word it's marked in cca 0,2 second. But here when I double click on word I have to wait 1,5 second and then is word marked. Why??
I believe you understand what I mean. -
Generally 3.0.0 is slower than near-obsolete 2.3.6 version
I cannot compare it because I didn't test RC on my board yet. My 2.3.6 board runs very fast. I am waiting for RC2 and then I send feedback. -
Yes, index and this topic are in ~ 0,5 sec loaded. Active content in ~ 2,5 sec. Much more better. Yesterday it was horrible! :D
-
Today is board much more faster.

We felt that life was moving too fast and wanted to slow it down a bit. We think that huge delays in serving up webpages will be a popular feature. Even Google will do the same one day. Just imagine, having to wait for 5 seconds for your search results. I know, it's a crazy concept but I think many will appreciate it.
We suggest you think about a loved one or task to do in that 5 seconds. Maybe take a peek out of the nearest window. Your choice, really. We're giving you the gift of time, it's up to you how you spend it.
:lol:I used to use AOL dial up on a 33k modem. 10 seconds to me is fast.
:o -
Since this board was upgraded to RC2 is extremelly slow
index 4.8637 sec
active content 24.7726 sec
this topic 6.4090 sec
Everything is slow, menus as well. -
people were eager for unencoded v3 but the tracker seemed to have corrected 60% of the big ones, so RC2 is needed to tie us over for final
Yes, RC2 will be released when all know bugs in RC1 will be fixed. As Brandon said there will be another bugs which will be fixed in ?RC3?
It's not important how fast will be RC2 released but how many bugs will be fixed. More = better. -
I don't like topics like this. What is reason that software was released as soon as possible?
-
Wow how many bugs are in the RC1 (more than 100). You have to work really hard guys. Good luck
-
we will be shipping two skins with IPB 3 though, the second will be whichever skin wins the contest, so make sure you cast your vote for a skin that you do like ;)
Does it mean that current 2.3.x skins won't be included and/or supported? -
I don't like darker background of icons. They could have same background like member list, and/or icons could be little reorganized.
Suggestions:
Matt's and Rikki's profiles are updated, Alex's is current. -
Thanks fot that lightblue bar, it looks like much more better  -
but sure would be nice to have something that Invision created. Would rather give them the money, as I know it'll work and be properly programmed with security in mind.
+1 -
Which tables could be switched to Memory for better performance?
ibf_sessions is already there... what about ibf_search_results or ibf_admin_sessions, etc...?
Thanks.

The second variant is prettier for me :)
