You can get to the support section by selecting support in the top right of your admin CP. In terms of the other 3rd party application, you would need to contact the author of that application for assistance

Im not sure why your hosting company would provide you with that answer. PHP sessions need to be able to be stored by the software. This is a hosting function (its part of the PHP setup itself).

No. You would need to use products rather than subscriptions if you have multiple tiers of upgradable items

The software would not check that to see if they are a spammer on changing email. If they are already a member, it would be assumed that user is not a spammer

There is no way in which to disable this at the present time (nor in version 5). You could change the default layout if you wanted to? This can be done from Community>Events>Settings. Feel free to post this up as a request within our feedback area, if you wish to see changes in this area in the future
