I don't see any such functionality in the ACP. 

BTW: with the update I have lost all downloads (using "Downloads Plus") from my site, which is a major part of it. I have contacted the author, but who knows when or if there will be an update.

Without any warning one would never ever expect such system changes in a minor update. 

With the update to 4.7.2 this plugin got automatically deactivated (it is stated to by incompatible with the PHP 8).

@Fosters Are we getting an update for it, so it will work again in 4.7.2?

I just updated to 4.7.2 and it seems that Downloads Plus is not compatible. It got automatically deactivated, rendering all downloads on my page inaccessible at the moment.

I am considering moving content out from my forum onto single "Pages". After having created the new pages and copied the content I would like to delete the then obsolete forum posts. Problem is, that the forum is well indexed by Google & Co, and I am sure some aticles are also directly linked to from some other websites.

So my question is, if there is a chance somewhere within the ACP to configure page forwardings? Something like:

I use some of the forum grid view css styles on my own page. Is there a way to force the "forums.css" file to get loaded? Per default it is not getting loaded on an own page.

Of course I could use a <link stylesheet> tag to load it, but that would then a fixed one from the current theme. If I allow my users to change the theme (dark/light mode) I would not be able to point to the "forums.css" of the current selected skin, but would always hard code to the file of one specific theme.

So I wonder if there is a way to get the "forums.css" file automatically loaded?

If have tried to place all forum widgets/blocks on the page, but none triggered the "forums.css" file to get loaded.

That config item was well hidden. I checked the configuration of my moderator group in "MEMBERS - Groups" and the "Content" page of the group in "STAFF - Moderators". I just found the setting there on the "Forums" page.

Now it works like it should 🙂

And example would be this forum. I have enabled the "Solved" feature earlier today, but it shows up on none of the topics/posts in there, except the very first topic "Test, please ignore" which I just created.

A few days ago I have updated the forum from 4.4 to 4.6. Before I had the "Best answer" plugin installed. I don't know if this might interfere here.

I just figured that the "Mark as Solution" feature only shows on posts that were made after I enabled "Enable Solved?" in a certain forum. It does not show for any posts being made earlier. 

Is this wanted behaviour or a bug? 

I am on version 4.6.12.1

ever since I updated from IPS 4.1 to 4.2 the best answers don't work anymore. Today I am on 4.4 and your best answer 1.1.0 and nothing has changed.

In the the post view nothing is displayed left of the post itself to identify or select the best answer. I also find no traces of "bestanswer" in the html code of the page. When taking a look into the themes templates and css there are lots of occurrences of "bestanswer".

For me the "forums - front - topics - postRating" template seem to be the one responsible for the best answer stuff left of a post. The code is there, but nothing ends up on the age.

I am lost at this as I don't know all your code in detail. Would you be able to help?

Btw: the theme is a modified 4.0 default theme.

After having ruled out inheritance or theme problems (I use the 4.0 default theme, but also checked the 4.2 default one) I ended up checking the apps/plugins. I still had a few 4.0 apps installed, which became incompatible with 4.2 and got automatically deactivated. I removed all of them, until I finally only had two left: "Contact Us" and "Custom Side Bars". With both of them still installed (but deactivated) the problem with Download Plus still existed. I then removed both at the same time and the problem was gone. I can't tell which one exactly caused the problem, it was either "Contact Us" or "Custom Side Bars".

Longs story short: it works now

I have just purchased your Download Plus app and installed it into my IPS 4.2.6.

All configuration items show up in the APC (to enable support, questions, to set the tab order, etc.), but the download page itself remains unchanged. The two default tabs are still displayed below the file and change log.

Do you have any hints what I could check for why your app is not displaying properly?

I have went through all configuration items you mentioned in your "directions.txt" file, but with no success.
